My husband and I crossed Lake Michigan getting on the ferry at Manitowac,Wisconsin and getting off at Ludington,Michigan it was in Jan very icy and they had hurricane type winds crossing it one ferry turned around and went back but ours continued it took 7 hours to do probably a 4 hour normal ride I was so sick the ship was covered in ice we were in a semi but we had to get a stateroom because we couldn't stay down with the truck, it had 50+ trucks and 80+ train cars on it. I bet a lot of these people were sick also
I almost posted that same video. That is nothing compared to what we saw in The Bering Sea when I was in the Coast Guard. You spent more time walking on the bulkheads than you did on the deck. At least we had our furniture bolted to the deck.
